The
Course
At
5,322 meters, the 18 hole parkland course demands accuracy and
skill rather than big hitting to match the par of 69.
Greystones will test your shot making abilities, providing golfers
with a variety of challenges,
while rewarding them with panoramic views of the Wicklow mountains
and the dramatic coastline sweep from Lambay Island to Wicklow
Head.
Front
Nine
The
outward 9 was completely redesigned in 1997.
The fairways take advantage of the gorse- covered slopes of Jones's
Hill
while the new sand based greens are of USGA standard.
Back
Nine
The
character of the inward 9, featuring the original tree-lined fairways
and the more traditional style of greens has been maintained.
This blend of historic and modern provides a special character
that enhances the challenge of golf in Greystones.
